To fully appreciate the evolving nature of Hououbiden Black Phoenix, it’s best served slightly chilled, around 10–15°C (50–59°F), which allows the layered aromas and flavors of Aiyama rice to gradually reveal themselves
ABOUT THE BREWERY
Kobayashi Shuzo
Houou Biden Brewery, Kobayashi Shuzo, was founded in 1872 (the 5th year of the Meiji era) in Koyama City, Tochigi Prefecture. Once known as Mitamura Village, this area is blessed with vast, beautiful rice fields and pure spring water from the Nikko Mountains. It is from this rich land that Houou Biden was born.
With 150 years of history, tradition, and refined craftsmanship, we continue to brew high-quality ginjo sake, guided by our unique values and sensibilities.
