ABOUT THIS BOTTLE
Dewazakura Yuki Manman 5 Years Old
Complex nose of plum, berry, melon, sweet rice, and honey. Superb body, a comforting weight on the tongue, flavors of dense minerals, plum, melon, ripened pear, white raisin, and fruit compote. Wonderful to sip slowly, treat it like the queen it is! Expansive and fleshy, but never flabby.
HOW TO ENJOY
PAIRING
Holds its own against hefty dishes like roast beef, steak, cheese plates, pates, game meats. Goes quite well with soft cheeses and Mediterranean-style tapas.
SERVING
Lightly chilled, best in a whiskey glass or wine glass. This is a sake to savor slowly, like a prized sherry.

Back in the 1980's, the word "Ginjo" was fairly unknown to the regular sake drinker. The very few Ginjos that were commercially sold were incredibly expensive, and usually bought only to be given as gifts. Click to learn more.
